I'm currently home sick. Friday I left work with a 103 degree fever. Rarely do I get sick....and dare I say, since moving to Mexico I have had very few colds. I swear it is the lifestyle we lead down here....beach, surf, sun, a lot of fresh air and tropical fruits [and a bit of tequila].
Coincidently enough three of these magical ingredients were missing from my life the last week; replaced by, no car and lots of prep for high season rental of our extra rooms.

The Ocean....
Good ole' vitamin sea. Anyone who has been tumbled around by some waves knows the ocean is nature's neti pot. Sea water contains vitamins, mineral salts and living organisms which help promote a healthy immune system; these health benefits are easily absorbed by our bodies, while frolicking in the ocean [yep, nows the time to stop thinking about the neti pot analogy].
And most importantly, it makes you feel like a kid again!

Fresh Fruit [Galore]...
Roadside coconut stands. Piña coladas with a sliver of pineapple along the rim. You don't have to work too hard to find fresh fruit.
It is everywhere [always].

Sit on the beach, walk on the beach, read a book on the beach, catch up with a good friend, workout on the beach, do absolutely nothing......
