Our yearly spring trip back to Salt Lake City...

An overload of the senses.
Our incredible community of friends.
BBQ's around the fire pit & lots of outdoor adventures.
The beautiful mountains which ruggedly rise up out of the Earth.
The grocery store indulgences consumed in sinful quantities and record speed.

And, this year.  Lots of talk about breast milk and Diva Cups.

Lots has changed, but one thing remains the same....
We absolutely adore our {growing} Salt Lake City family!

We feel home.

Happy Hour
{SLC Style}
Hiked for hot toddy whiskey and wine.

We perched ourselves up above the city for a spectacular view of a 'storm-ah-brewing' over the Great Salt Lake.  Happy hour delight; puffy coats & gloves, surrounded by sagebrush and the Wasatch Mountain Range.  Nostalgia for mountain living loomed in the chilly air.  The sun gently faded behind the clouds and the lights of the city began to glow; we scuffled down the loose rocks and said our farewells back at the empty dirt parking lot, where it all began.

It began with a late afternoon survey:
'Anyone interested in a pre-dawn hike to watch the full lunar eclipse'?

No other group of friends would respond so quickly.  Yet another reason, I love these humans so dearly.
Coffee and a meet-up time was quickly coordinated.  And, Sam was reminded he had no choice but to {chipperly} get out of bed at 4:45 a.m to participate.

We hiked up the foothills in the dark and snuggled together for warmth while the Moon journeyed into the dark umbra of the Earth.  A few minutes past the full totality of the eclipse, we ascended higher to the peak where the wind slapped at our faces and the city lights twinkled below.

A quick coffee to reward our early morning efforts, as well as, a cheers to salute our micro-adventure.  We navigated our way down with the glow of the rising sun, as the city slowly awakened.

...And, Sam.  Did he make it on the hike.  You bet!
This picture sums it up.
Secondary fun at it's best.

Thank you dear friends for re-filling my cup.  For going out of your way to spread your love, to remind me of my worth in this great big world and most importantly for showing me how I can be a better human; through your everyday actions and practices, of being yourselves.  And, for those of you whom I did not see this go around, I hope to be seeing you soon.  You are all an important part of our story and each of you hold a very special place in our hearts.

Much Love,
Team Fuber
