After several days of collecting firewood from the hillside and hauling it down to our house (thank you Sammy), we fired up the wood oven in the backyard. Two hours of warming; not even the slightest bit warm. Rather than wait many more hours in the hot sun, we threw the bbq racks in the bottom of the oven. Four different pizzas and an apple crisp for dessert. The bbq gluten & dairy free pizza was the winner.
