High Season Hustle
/hai see-zuh n huhs-uh l/

[Verb]: Making some extra cash from the influx of tourist during the months of November - April.

Room rentals. Surf Lesson. Other hidden talents unmasked.

Strangely, we have lived in various locales with a high and low season:
Mountains of northern Arizona; Phoenicians fleeing the summer heat.
North Conway, New Hampshire; fall leaf peepers.
North shore of Oahu; winter waves.

High season always drove me crazy....until I started earning pesos.

Fortunately we have steady full time jobs and don't rely on our 'hustling' skills because the truth is our hustle is not all about the money; we love to meet adventurous souls and renting our extra rooms has allowed us to host some fantastic travelers.  For us the 'hustle' connects us to like minded people and brings some fresh energy into our lives.
