...This is our annual Gringo Thanksgiving in Mexico.
Thanksgiving is not officially celebrated in Mexico. However a large enough population of expats live in the Bay of Banderas that finding a restaurant to gorge yourself with turkey and all the fixin's is an easy task.
Many years ago, Thanksgiving became our favorite holiday. It is the one and only time of the year when people gather in our home to celebrate a holiday. And, in typical 'Fuber' fashion....there is nothing traditional about it! Tamales stuffed with spicy black beans and pumpkin. Side of stuffing & gravy. Margaritas.
